Lisa Smith Henderson is the founder of Daring Parenting, a website with educational information for parents and a weekly podcast on iTunes and Google Play. Lisa is a speaker and seminar presenter on the topic of Daring Parenting and parenting with “tough love”.
Her passion is educating parents about handling tricky issues that are universal: setting boundaries with their children and sticking to them. Parents need to understand the power they have, the responsibility to their kids and the persistence to carry on, even when your child gets mad at you!
In 2006, Lisa created, Teens Talk Truth, an Audio Series for parents of teenagers, a website with Parenting Tips and Articles and seminars for parents of teenagers. Her background is in radio broadcasting and Lisa hosted and created, Choosing Life: Addiction and Recovery and co-hosted the weekly radio show, Parenting Solutions. Both of these shows aired in Atlanta, Georgia, USA on powerhouse radio station, WSB-FM. Lisa also worked as an on-air personality and morning show host at WSB-FM.
